How to Run Wire in a House
Whether installing new high-speed Internet wires or laying cables for the television, running the wires through your house can be a challenging and frustrating activity without the proper equipment. Fish tape allows you to thread the tape through the tight spaces that your cable must pass through, attach the cable to the fish tape, then pull it back through the insides of the walls until the wire reaches the central hub to be hooked up. Thread the fishing tape up towards the outlet and pull it through. It often helps to have a partner waiting at the outlet so you do not need to move from the tape to the outlet.
