How to Send Ringtones to a Samsung Instinct

The Samsung Instinct cell phone features text messaging, which can be used for more than simply texting words to other cell phone users. With Sprint, send pictures, videos and even ringtones via text messages to your Samsung Instinct.

Instructions

1. Launch your email account and input your Samsung Instinct's cell phone number followed by Sprint's text messaging extension into the address field of the message (e.g., [e-mail]).

2. Add the ringtone you want to send to your Samsung Instinct to the email message as an attachment, then mail the message to your Samsung Instinct cell phone.

3. Press the "OK" key on your Samsung Instinct to see the text message. Press the right soft key. Scroll to "Save as Ringtone." Press the "OK" key.

Tips & Warnings

• Send more than one ringtone to your Samsung Instinct at a time by attaching more than one ringtone to your email message before sending it.

• Text messaging fees may be applied to your Sprint bill if text messaging is not covered in your monthly calling plan.
