Add Hawaiian details to your wedding guest book.

Your wedding guest book should bring back all your memories of your special day long after the cake is cut and the honeymoon is over. Every time you look through the signatures in the book, you should remember all the details of the day, such as how everything looked, smelled and felt. Decorate your guest book to reflect your wedding, adding Hawaiian touches that complement your wedding.

Instructions

    • 1

Write "Aloha" on the front cover of the guest book. Alternatively, write out a Hawaiian song, prayer or verse that pertains to love or weddings. Include the English translation if you want.

    • 2

Arrange silk plumeria or orchid blooms or small seashells around the cover of the guest book. Create a heart, border or spell out the word "Aloha" with the embellishments rather than writing it. Use beads or dyed rice to create images of the waves, palm trees, turtles or other Hawaiian icons that tie into your wedding if you don't want to use flowers or shells.

    • 3

Glue the embellishments in place. Allow the items to completely dry days before the wedding so they don't fall off when guests move the book to sign it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a coconut shell to hold the pen for guests to sign the book. Alternatively, use a pen made from a coconut.
