How to Adjust an LCD 1080P TV

Several television manufacturers produce LCD 1080p TVs. These televisions offer a high-quality video display; however, owning these TVs carries disadvantages as well. LCD TVs have no bulb inside of them. While this makes for a good picture, the absence of a bulb to change means the LCD-TV owner can do nothing to stop the picture fading that occurs over time. The process involved with adjusting an LCD 1080p varies depending on the TV you own, but the general process is the same regardless of the TV's manufacturer.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" button on the remote or on the TV.

2. Use the "Up" or "Down" arrows to locate "Picture" from the list on the screen. Press the "Right" arrow one time.

3. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrows to locate "Picture Options" from the list that appears.

4. Press "Enter."

5. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrows to scroll through the list and adjust the settings. For example, scroll to "Color Tone" and press the "Right" arrow once. Use the arrows to scroll through the choices and press "Enter" when you have made your choice.

6. Follow the procedure outlined in Step 5 to make other picture adjustments you want to make.
