How to Raise Money With a Bunco Party
Raising money doesn't have to be conventional, and it definitely doesn't have to be boring. Bunco parties provide an opportunity for fund raising in a social environment. Bunco is a simple game played in teams with three dice that dates back to the 1800s. Although Bunco is usually played with 12 people, it can be adjusted to accommodate any size group by using a ghost player or adding additional tables.

1
Determine the amount of money that you want to earn, and divide it by the number of people you expect to attend your Bunco party to calculate how much to charge each participant. For example, if you need to raise $500 and you are expecting 20 guests, charge each guest $25.
-
2
Spread the word about your Bunco party by word of mouth and advertising. Consider advertising at church, work or by putting up a flyer at the library. Ask everyone to RSVP to ensure you purchase enough supplies for everyone.

3
Find organizations and companies willing to donate prizes to your party, such as gift certificates, gift baskets or a free product. Consider charging a slightly higher cover charge to your guests and purchase prizes yourself.
-
4
Call all expected guests and confirm the time and date a few days ahead of time to get a final head count. Purchase all the supplies for your Bunco party after you have confirmed the number of people that will attend. Appetizers and refreshments, as well as Bunco supplies, should be purchased a few days in advance.

5
Set up the party location for Bunco by setting up table and chairs. Set up one table for every four people playing, and set three dice on each table. Place pencils and tablets for score tracking on the tables. Put all of the snacks and refreshments on side tables or a convenient central location, and prominently display all of the prizes.
