How to Recruit Gang Members in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for a PC

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" features a former gang member who has returned to his family to avenge a murder. Along the way you'll recruit other gang members to help you out with different jobs and with taking over rival gang territory. Recruiting them is simple provided that they're wearing the green colors of your gang and that you have a sufficient respect rating to recruit the necessary number of members.

Instructions

    • 1

Approach a fellow gang member. Look for gang members around your home base or look for anybody wandering the streets wearing a lot of green.

    • 2

Face the gang member and press the right mouse button to target him. You'll see an arrow on top of his head pointing down.

    • 3

Press "G" to recruit him. Press "G" again once he's under control to have him follow you more closely; press "H" to have him wait where he is.

Tips & Warnings

  • The amount of respect you've earned for completing previous missions or taking over other gang territory determines how many gang members you can recruit at any given time; 1 percent or more equals two members, 10 percent or more equals three members, 20 percent or more equals four members, 40 percent or more equals five members, 60 percent or more equals six members and 80 percent or more equals seven members.
