How to Use an Inversion Machine
Inversion machines use a rotating platform to take a person and turn them upside-down for set periods of time. Use of an inversion machine is supposed to help counteract the damage you do to your spine during the day due to bad posture and long periods spend sitting at a desk. Inversion machines also help to build core strength, improve posture and increase circulation through the body. Using an inversion machine is a relatively straightforward process.

1
Sit on the inversion machine and secure your feet and ankles to the machine through whatever method is present. Some machines have ankle straps, while others require you to wrap your feet around a certain part of the plank. Properly securing your feet is the most important part of using an inversion machine.
-
2
Tilt the inversion machine back by grabbing the handles on the side. Novice users should only tilt to around 20 degrees, as anything further could be overwhelming.

3
Relax your muscles and hang on the machine for three to five minutes, then slowly pull yourself back up. You may feel dizzy, so be careful getting off the machine.
-
4
Use the machine every day, slowly increasing the time you spend inverted and the angle at which you hang. Once you find a comfortable angle, you can stay there or continue to push yourself until you can hang completely upside-down.
