How to Use Viewsat 2000 Ultra With Direct TV
The Viewsat 2000 Ultra satellite receiver works along with your satellite dish to collect programming. While the Viewsat 2000 Ultra is most commonly used in FTA, or free-to-air systems, the receiver does feature a smart card slot that allows you to use the receiver for standard satellite services such as DirecTV. The DirecTV access card will provide your Viewsat with the necessary abilities to descramble the feed from the DirecTV satellites.
