How to Convert Autocad Drawings to Inventor
There are many different software programs for computer-aided design and drafting. It's a good idea to know the various methods used to transfer or convert your drawing files from one compatible software program to another. Fortunately, it's easy to convert and import AutoCAD file drawings into the compatible Inventor software.

Open the AutoCAD file that you want to convert to Inventor. Files must be converted or imported one at a time.

Open a new file in Inventor to allow the AutoCAD drawing to be imported.

Click the "File < Export" option from the menu on the toolbar at the top of the AutoCAD screen. It will prompt you to identify the file you want to export in a dialog box. The open file will be the default so just click "Enter."

Click the "Insert < File" option on the Inventor toolbar, move your cursor over the Inventor blank file that you opened, and drag and drop the AutoCAD drawing.
