How to Use Makeup to Cover Dark Spots
Dark circles and discolored spots are some of the signs of aging that women experience as they get older. Aging skin heals and reacts to sunlight and free radicals differently than younger skin. More sensitive to these factors, the skin reacts by sending melanin to "heal" the damaged area. Unfortunately, for women, melanin is a pigment and where the melanin gathers so do the spots. For fast relief from unsightly dark spots, use makeup to get the coverage you need for even toned skin. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Cleanse your face as you normally would. Use your washcloth to wash away debris and oil from the skin. Rinse the skin with cool/warm water.
-
2
Squirt a dime-sized amount of moisturizer in the palm of your hand. Rub the moisturizer into the skin of your face and neck.
-
-
3
Pat the skin with a towel to remove excess moisture. Stand under bright natural light and locate the dark spots you wish to cover.
-
4
Squeeze a tiny amount of the yellow concealer from the tube on to your fingertip. Pat the concealer on the spots. The color will not blend in your skin so do not fuss over it.
-
5
Dampen your makeup sponge slightly. Rub it across the creme to powder makeup. Apply the makeup to your face using the sponge. Start at the forehead and work down to your chin. Dab over the dark spots, reapplying makeup as you need to.
-
6
Allow the makeup to set for 30 seconds. Sweep your brush across the surface of the powder. Sweep the powder on your face using a circular movement.
