How to Link to Government IRS Payments
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) offers a free method of electronically filing all payments owed to the government. The Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) allows tax payments to be securely sent directly to the government without the risk of getting lost in the mail. Payments can be made on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis to make convenient on-time filing easier for businesses and individual payers. Setting up an account with EFTPS can be done online or by phone.
Things You'll Need
- Taxpayer Identification Number (Employer Identification Number for a business or Social Security Number for individual enrollment).
- Banking account number and routing number
