How to Tell Termites From Flying Ants

Seeing a swarm of insects around your home may cause you to become concerned that you're being invaded by termites. Yet, not all swarming insects are termites. Termites can cause considerable damage to your home, as can carpenter ants. Properly identifying termites from flying ants can help you determine the best course of treatment for your home.       Catch an insect during a swarm. Try not to crush it, as it will be easier to identify a whole insect.
