1
Roll out a length of the green duct tape, sticky side facing up. Lay the straw at the end of the tape and roll in toward the roll. Cover the straw completely with the tape. When it's covered, cut the tape from the roll and affix the end piece to the straw.
-
2
Cut several two-inch pieces of red tape, sticky side up.
-
-
3
Fold in one corner of a tape strip so that there remains room to fold in the corner next to it while leaving a strip of stickiness at the bottom. The result should look like a non-sticky triangle above a horizontal strip of exposed tape.
-
4
Start at one side of the strip and roll it up. The end should form a point. Insert the roll into the center of the straw.
-
5
Repeat Step 3 for the other strips of tape. Use the bottom adhesive strip to glue these petals around the center formed by the straw. Continue adding petals until the flower is at your desired size.
-
6
To create leaves, repeat Step 3, using the green tape to match the stem. Wrap the exposed adhesive strip around the sides of the straw.
