How to Apply for a Grant to Support Middle School Drama Club
A grant can help to fund a middle school drama club. It can be expensive to fund productions and purchase costumes and props for a play. A middle school drama club may also take field trips to see local plays or to do an outreach program to an assisted living community. There are several places to apply for a grant for a drama club. The application needs to be well-written with clear objectives and uses for the money.

1
Find organizations that offer grants for drama clubs or school organizations. Many local and state art councils will fund grants for school art programs such as a drama clubs. Additionally you can apply for grants from national organizations.
-
2
Design a program or specific project for which you will use the grant. You will need objectives for the project, including how many people the project will affect, and a budget. For example, if you need funds to start the club, you will list the roles the club will play and how it will help students both inside and outside school.

Proofread the application and ask someone else to proofread it as well. A polished, easy-to-understand application is more likely to be approved than one that is not. The objective needs to be clear, and you may want to ask someone not involved in the grant-writing process to look over the grant.
