1
Use a pressure washer with a mild detergent to clean the residue from your aluminum siding. Clean your aluminum siding at least once every six months. If you go longer than six months without cleaning, it will be much harder to make your siding look better.
-
2
Sand away corroded areas to improve the appearance of your aluminum siding. These areas are more likely in spots that are exposed to a lot of moisture. Continue sanding until you can no longer see the corroded spot.

3
Cover the area that was affected by corrosion with an antirust primer to keep your aluminum siding looking better.
-
4
Cover any scratches in your aluminum siding with a fine rubbing compound. Rinse the area and allow it to dry thoroughly.
-
5
Use touch-up paint and a fine paintbrush to add multiple layers to the scratched area and make the siding look better. You will need to let each coat of paint dry before adding another one.
-
6
Apply a fine polishing compound and then oil-based wax to the scratched area. This will help blend the touch-up paint into the rest of your aluminum siding.
