How to Turn on a Blackberry Bold

BlackBerry makes a variety of mobile phones with Internet capability, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, camera, extra memory and numerous apps. BlackBerry smartphones are cell phones and PDAs all in one device, with productivity tools such as the organizer. BlackBerry smartphones include the Torch, Style, Curve, Pearl, Tour, Storm and Bold. The BlackBerry Bold has four different models, all with 3G network support and full keyboards. Turning on a BlackBerry Bold is easy.

Instructions

1. Charge your phone. If the battery is low, your BlackBerry Bold may not turn on. You can charge the phone using the AC adapter plugged into an electrical outlet, or using a USB cable connected to a computer.

2. Wait until the battery has a full charge, indicated by the LED light. The light flashes yellow when the battery is low, and solid green when the battery is full.

3. Press and hold down the red power key on the front of your phone, located above the keyboard and next to the tracking ball.

• Use only the recommended batteries for BlackBerry phones. Unapproved batteries may cause injuries, fires or explosions.
