Pair your cell with your vehicle's Bluetooth for hands-free phone operation.

Many late-model vehicles are equipped with integrated Bluetooth technology. This allows you to program your cell phone to your vehicle's integrated phone system, which operates your phone for you via voice activated controls as you drive. As a safety measure, integrated Bluetooth systems keep your hands and eyes on the road while enabling you to make and receive phone calls. The installation is simple and straightforward.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your car. Have your cell phone turned on with the Bluetooth application set to discovery mode. See your user's manual for instructions on how to do this.

    • 2

Activate the phone system. Simply push the button with the phone on it, either on your dash or on your steering column. Set it to search mode and wait while your phone and vehicle search for one another.

    • 3

Enter the pass code that appears on your vehicle's radio screen. Your phone will then ask if you would like to continue the process of pairing it with your vehicle's Bluetooth. Click "OK."

    • 4

Exit the Bluetooth discovery and pairing mode on your phone and vehicle once the pairing is complete. Test your new integrated Bluetooth.
