How to Cut Interior Window Case Molding
Interior window case molding is used to trim around windows. It conceals gaps between the window frame and drywall, giving the room a finished look. It is available in various widths and materials, including oak, pine, wood composite and vinyl. It is also available primed--ready for painting--and unprimed. Millworks and home improvement retailers sell case molding. Cutting interior window case molding requires only basic carpentry skill and tools.
