How to Create Your Own 3D Car Online
You can build a virtual car online in 3D at car manufacturers' sites or at game sites. Although you can't literally take something home that you've built online, you can order the car you've built on specific sites, or you can print out a picture and take it to a dealership to help explain what you are looking for in your automobile.

Go to a car dealership's website that has a building feature, such as Marin Luxury cars, or another site that sells cars and has an online building feature. Decide on the make and model of the car you are interested in and click the name to start the 3D builder. Then choose the specific model. Depending on the model you've chosen you'll be able to click various colors, interior colors, interior features and exterior features. When you're finished, the site will tell you how much the car will cost to build, or you can print out a picture to take to your own dealership.

Visit a car manufacturer's website, like BMW. Many car manufacturers have some type of car builder online. Click the model of car you are interested in and then choose the color and pick from a list of the various features for the car, depending on what is available with that specific model. Some choices might include the color of the car, the interior colors, available features and the type of engine. You can order your finished car directly from the website.

Customize a car on a game, such as the AOL Teens Game Customize Your Ride. Click the make and model of car, and then choose various features, such as the color, the interior options, and the exterior paint and wheel options. Although you can't order this car from the game, you can print out the pictures to take to your own dealership to see what that type of car would cost.
