Instructions

    • 1

Pour the powder paint into a small stainless steel bowl.

    • 2

Light the candle and use the pliers to hold the lure 1 inch above the flame. Heat for 5 to 10 seconds. Adjust the time, depending on the size of the lure. Keep the candle wick trimmed to 1/4 inch by clipping with the scissors.

    • 3

Swish the lure through the powder paint using a quick side-to-side motion. Cover the lure's entire surface. Be careful not to dip or push the lure into the paint.

    • 4

Remove the lure immediately and tap it on the edge of the bowl to remove any excess powder paint. The blade should look dry and powdery.

    • 5

Reheat the lure by holding it 1 inch above the candle flame, until the paint starts to gloss and melt throughout.

    • 6

Allow the lure to cool completely on a rack for 5 minutes.

    • 7

Use the head cement applicator bottle to apply designs, such as stripes and splash patterns to your lure. Fill the applicator bottle half-full with your chosen color. Squeeze the bottle in a vertical position as you glide it over the warm lure.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not place the lure directly on the flame because this will cause discoloration.
