How to Retrieve a Cell-Phone Message From a Landline
Many mobile-phone providers offer free voice-mail boxes for callers to leave a message when you're not available to answer your phone. You can retrieve these voice-mail messages from your mobile or land-line phone. Checking your messages from a land-line phone allows you to access your messages without being assessed the per-minute charges seen with accessing voice mail on your mobile phone.

Dial your mobile phone's number from a land-line phone.

Press "*" when your voice-mail message begins to play.

Enter your password when prompted. Your voice-mail options will begin to play. Select the option you would like to review your messages.

Disconnect your call when you have finished reviewing your messages.
