How to Get the URL for a Picture or Web Page on WebTV

You can get the URL for a Web page or a picture you're viewing with your WebTV. You may not be able to get all the pictures like you can on a PC, but you can get any that are clickable with WebTV.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • WebTV
  • Televisions
  • Internet Access

    Using the Wireless WebTV Keyboard

  1. Step 1

    Go to a Web page.

  2. Step 2

    Press the Info button on the keyboard.

  3. Step 3

    Write down the URL that's next to the address line on the pop-up screen.

  4. Step 4

    Press Back on the keyboard to put the Info screen back down.

  5. Step 5

    Click on the thumbnail for a picture to enlarge it or the actual picture if it's clickable on WebTV.

  6. Step 6

    Press the Info button on the keyboard.

  7. Step 7

    Write down the URL that's next to the address line on the pop-up screen.

  8. Step 8

    Press Back on the keyboard to put the screen back down.

  9. Using a PC Keyboard

  10. Step 1

    Go to a Web page.

  11. Step 2

    Press F11 on the keyboard.

  12. Step 3

    Click "go to" on the screen that pops up.

  13. Step 4

    Scroll down to Show Last button.

  14. Step 5

    Press Enter on the keyboard to get the Web page address.

  15. Step 6

    Write down the URL that shows up in the address box.

  16. Step 7

    Press End on the keyboard to put the Info screen back down.

  17. Step 8

    Click on a thumbnail of a picture or the actual picture if it's clickable.

  18. Step 9

    Press F11 on the keyboard.

  19. Step 10

    Click "go to" on the screen that pops up.

  20. Step 11

    Scroll down to Show Last button.

  21. Step 12

    Press Enter on the keyboard to get the picure's URL.

  22. Step 13

    Write down the URL that shows up in the address box.

  23. Step 14

    Press End on the keyboard to put the Info screen back down.
