How to File an Annual Report in Colorado
Certain organized businesses in Colorado must file an annual report to maintain an active business status with the state. The report is required from corporations, limited liability companies, nonprofits and foreign companies that are registered to transact business in Colorado.
The purpose of the annual report is to update the name and current address of the business, as well as update registered agent contact information. Maintaining these records ensures the public has access to current information. The state of Colorado only accepts annual reports electronically.
