Instructions

    • 1

Download a free calendar template from one of the resources listed and open it.

    • 2

Set the month and year, and update the calendar.

    • 3

Click on the area where the photo is to go and browse to the directory where your desired photos are located. Find the photo you want for that month and click "Select." If your template operates in Excel, you will need to click on "Add Photo" before browsing to the photo to be inserted. Resize the image if necessary by grabbing a corner with the mouse and stretching the photo to fit the area.

    • 4

Double-click on specific dates to add personal notes like family birthdays, trips, bill paying dates or paydays.

    • 5

Some programs do not allow you to save a completed calendar, only the blank template. In these cases, you'll need to print as many copies of that month's calendar as you need before moving on to the next month.

    • 6

Complete this step for each month, then print.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use photos of the people who are having birthdays that month.

  • Use photos of past holidays for appropriate months.

  • When resizing photos, be careful not to distort them by stretching in only one direction. Always use the corner to resize your chosen picture.

  • Determine if your template allows you to save changes before closing the month. Print an extra copy if you cannot save.
