How to Use Drag Radials
Drag radial tires are used on drag racing cars to help the cars remain stabilized for a safer race. Regular tires have a smaller surface on the ground than radial tires. Radial tires provide more surface coverage, which means more traction while driving. Radial tires have been around for over 50 years and were not always used for racing. Some radial tires were put on farming equipment to help stabilize the machines from sinking into the soft soil.

Install the tires on your drag racing car.

Drive the car to high speeds in a safe location. Feel how the car is more stable on the ground than with regular tires.

Turn the car around and feel how the tires grip the ground and keeps the vehicle more stable.

Drive across wet and soft ground and feel how the car stays on top of the soil rather than sinking into the soil as with regular tires.

Tips & Warnings
Using radial tires also has other perks such as a longer tread life and a lower risk of rolling the car.
Just because you have radial tires does not mean that you will not wreck the car. You should still exercise caution when driving.
