How to Mount Stuff to Plywood Wall
Mounting onto plywood need not be greatly different to mounting onto another type of wall. Plywood is a thinner and lighter wood, meaning that it can carry less weight, although for small items, plywood will be more than strong enough. Plywood walls are regularly used at trade shows or on other temporary walls. Mounting lightweight objects on these walls is a simple process, which does not require a great deal of technical knowledge or specialist equipment. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Use wood glue or Blu-tack to attach small, lightweight objects onto the wall. If you are making a temporary display, you can use Blu-tack to attach pieces of paper or other material to a plywood wall. Press firmly with the Blu-tack to attach. Use wood glue in the same way, although this will be harder to remove. Use a cloth to wipe excess wood glue from the sides of what you are mounting.

2
Mount a painting or other framed object onto plywood by using a bracket and nails. Line the painting up where you intend it to hang, and make a mark with a pencil on the four corners. Using a rough line, connect the opposite corners to find a center point. Hammer a bracket into the center point and hang the painting on the bracket. If a bracket does not come with the painting, a nail will suffice.

Use magnets if you do not wish to attach items to the wall with nails. Use wood glue to attach one of the magnets to the wall, and attach the other to the item you are framing. This method will work with lightweight objects and will not put a hole in the plywood wall.

Tips & Warnings
Items that are too heavy will cause the wood to split and the item to drop. Do not attempt to overload the plywood.
