How to Set the Alarm on a Palm Pixi

Many smartphones come pre-equipped with alarm settings.

Developed by the Palm company, the Palm Pixi is a smartphone that comes loaded with several key features, including a calendar system, date and time and a clock manager equipped with an alarm-sound system. Users can set the alarm to a specific, recurring time in any time zone, while also using the calendar to adjust dates and important appointments to sound the alarm at a specified time.

Instructions

1. Open the "Clock" settings on the phone marked by the white clock icon.

2. Adjust the alarm preferences marked by the alarm bell icon. Press "Off" to turn the alarm system on in the alarm preferences menu.

3. Enter a name for the alarm. For example, "Work Alarm."

4. Set the alarm time. You can adjust the time to an appropriate hour, minute and AM/PM preference.

5. Adjust the alarm frequency. Under the "Occurs" setting, select how often you want the alarm to ring.

6. Configure the alarm sound. The Palm Pixi comes pre-equipped with ringtones and sounds for the alarm. Tap the right-faced "Play" arrow to preview the selected sound.

Tips & Warnings

• You can adjust the alarm volume by pressing the volume up and volume down buttons located on the side of the Palm Pixi.
