How to Accept Party Invitations on Xbox Live

Xbox LIVE allows you to watch videos, connect with friends and download games. As long as you have a working Internet connection and an Xbox LIVE account, you can also host and join parties. Accepting party invitations from your friends is easy, and there are also a few other ways to join parties.

Accepting Party Invitations

1. Ask a friend to invite you to a party on Xbox LIVE.

2. Select the invitation from your "Messages" list after you receive it.

3. Accept the invitation to join the party.

Other Methods to Join Parties in Progress

1. Go to the "Friends" channel. Select the avatar of someone who is already in a party. Choose the "Join Party" option.

2. Select the "Xbox Guide" button. Choose "Friends."

3. Select any friend who is already in a party. Choose "Join Party."
