How to Refill a BIC Clic Master Pencil

Mechanical pencils reduce waste.

Mechanical pencils offer the convenience of a writing tip that never needs sharpening, and longer use with lead refills held inside the barrel. The BIC Clic Master is a mechanical pencil that is refillable with 0.7mm lead.

Instructions

1. Purchase 0.7mm mechanical pencil refills. These do not need to be the same brand as the pencil; however, it is important to buy the correct size.

2. Grasp the eraser at the top of the Clic Master and gently pull it off.

3. Insert one lead refill at a time into the end of the tube, which is now visible with the eraser removed. Do not force the lead into the Clic Master. If the lead does not slide easily into the barrel, it is full.

4. Replace the eraser at the top of the Clic Master.

Tips & Warnings

• If the eraser is too worn down to be removed easily, bend a paper clip. Press the end into the eraser to assist in removing it.
