How to Use a Bubble Machine for a Wedding
When planning a wedding, there are a lot of decisions to make. Traditionally, rice or birdseed is thrown at a bride and groom as they exit the place in which they were married. One unique idea is to use a bubble machine to blow bubbles at the bride and groom instead. If you want to get some extra use out of the bubble machine, you may want to also use it at the reception as the wedding party enters. Bubbles are beautiful and will create a fun atmosphere for your special day.

1
Call your local rental places to see if they have a bubble machine available, ask your DJ if he has one, and check at balloon and candy shops as well. Try to find the place that will rent you a bubble machine for the best possible price.

2
Decide where you are going to place the bubble machine. If you are using it for when the bride and groom exit, you can place it near the exit doors. Check out the exit area to make sure there is a spot available for the machine. You want the bubbles to blow around the bride and groom, so the location is very important.

Find a place to hang the bubble machine from if you will use it at the reception. The bubbles will then float down around people while they are dancing and having fun. If there is no location above the dance floor, look for a place that makes the most sense.

Choose when to use the bubble machine during the reception. The machine does not have to run the whole time. Moments when it will be good to use the bubble machine are the special dances, such as the bride and father dance and the couple's first dance.

Tips & Warnings
Place the bubble machine in an area that will allow the bubbles to fall around and disperse throughout the room. This makes a much better atmosphere than the bubbles all being bunched in one space.
For added fun, you can give some of your guests bubble wands so that they can also blow bubbles while the couple exits.
Be careful of bubbles popping on the dance floor. The idea of bubbles floating around you while you dance may sound romantic, but the soap can make the dance floor slippery. Be sure to keep this in mind when considering the placement of the bubble machine.
