How to Backup Contacts From My Blackberry to a SIM Card
BlackBerry is a line of smartphones manufactured by Research In Motion. Although a BlackBerry has an internal contact list, it may also have a subscriber identity module (SIM) card that features a phone book. The SIM card allows the user to easily move their phone number and contacts to another phone. By default, a BlackBerry will use its own contact list. You can easily backup your contact list to the SIM card by copying it to the SIM card phone book.

Press the "Menu" key and select the "Contacts" icon to access the address book.

Select a contact and highlight the phone number.

Press the "Menu" key and select the menu option "Copy to SIM Phone Book" to backup the contact to the SIM card. Repeat this step for each contact you wish to backup.
