Instructions

    • 1

Open the rear doors --- or tailgate --- of your Tahoe.

    • 2

Locate the two plugs on the inner side of the tail lamp assembly. The plugs are made of plastic.

    • 3

Insert your screwdriver into each of the access holes. Unscrew the two screws that hold the rear lamp in place. It may be helpful to use a magnetic screwdriver to reduce the chance of losing the screws.

    • 4

Pull the tail lamp assembly out from the body of the vehicle.

    • 5

Unscrew the screws on the bulb retainer; separate it from the tail lamp assembly. From this point, you can replace bulbs or replace the lamp lens if it is damaged.
