How to Remove Sounds and Pictures From Your WebTV E-mail Signature Before Sending

Fancy WebTV e-mails with music and pictures can sometimes crash the computer of the person to whom you are sending the e-mail. You can avoid this problem by removing your e-mail signature.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • WebTV
  • Televisions
  • Internet Access
  1. Step 1

    Type your e-mail as you usually would.

  2. Step 2

    Scroll down to the bottom of the message.

  3. Step 3

    Click Remove Signature.

  4. Step 4

    Click Send.

Tips & Warnings
  • You have to go through the process of removing the signature every time you send an e-mail because each new e-mail message automatically includes it.
  • If you're sending an e-mail to someone for the first time, it's best to remove your HTML signature. Then ask them if it's OK for you to send e-mails with WebTV signatures.
