How to Put Applications on the Home Screen on a BlackBerry Curve

The BlackBerry Curve features numerous applications such as the media player, email and BlackBerry Instant Messenger. Each application is represented by an icon on the phone's home screen. Putting an application's icon on the home screen of the phone allows you to quickly access it. Most BlackBerry users opt to put their most frequently used applications on the home screen for easy access. The applications can be rearranged at any time.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" key to access the expanded home screen and scroll to the application to be moved.

2. Press the "Menu" key and click "Move."

3. Move the application's icon using the trackball to the desired location and click the trackball. The first five icons on the top row of the expanded home screen will be displayed on the home screen.
