How to Reset My Zune Player

If you use any electronic device such as a Zune long enough, it is bound to freeze and lock up on you. This can be caused by a glitch in the software. If you find yourself in this position, do not get stressed out. A simple reset will usually cure the issue.

Instructions

    • 1

      Push the hold switch on your Zune to the "Off" position.

    • 2

      Press and hold the "Back" button on your Zune. This button, with a single dot, is to the left of the Zune pad.

    • 3

      Continue holding the "Back" button while you simultaneously press and hold the top of your Zune pad.

    • 4

      Hold these two buttons until the Zune screen goes black, indicating it is resetting.
