How to Make an Outdoor Wire Chandelier
You can light up the backyard patio or front porch with this outdoor wire chandelier. This glamorous fixture is deceptively uncomplicated and would be a big hit at a summer garden party or barbecue. The lighted chandelier would also look attractive when suspended from a porch overhang for a winter decoration, adding sparkle and glow to a snow-covered landscape. Things You'll Need
- 18-inch wire wreath frame, 40 inches wide
- 18-inch length of chicken wire
- Wire cutters
- Heavy gloves
- 100-bulb string of miniature outdoor lights
- White extension cord

Attach the chicken wire to the wire wreath frame by wrapping the vertical edge wires of the chicken wire around the frame. Attach the end edges of the chicken wire to each other by bending them, creating a wire tube.

Wrap the miniature lights around the wire tube, beginning at the wire wreath. Poke the lights through the chicken wire.

Push the top of the chicken wire tube together with your hands while wearing heavy gloves to create a 3-inch diameter opening.

Attach the string of lights to the extension cord. Drape the cord over a porch or patio overhang hook to hang the lighted wire chandelier. Plug in the extension cord.
