Hold down the adjustment button located on the base of the headrest and pull the headrest up until it comes completely off. Assemble the bracket by clicking part 1 of the screen mounting bracket into part 2 to make the two pieces a single unit. The two sections will still specifically be referred to as "Part 1" and "Part 2" to identify the sections of the unit.

    • 2

Insert the plastic tubes inside the holes of part 2 of the bracket, and use a hammer to gently tap in the plastic tubes if you cannot get them in by hand. Slide the two rods of the headrest through the plastic tubes that you just installed in part 2 of the bracket.

    • 3

Fit the rods of the headset back into the top of the seat. Push the headrest all the way down to secure the bracket into place. Place the monitor over the clip screw. Position the angle of the monitor where you want it to face then tighten the clip screw using a Phillips screwdriver. Tightening the clip screw locks the monitor into place at the angle it's set at.

    • 4

Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the clip screw located at the pivot point of the bracket. This allows you to adjust the positioning of the monitor arm. Position the monitor arm how you want it and tighten the clip screw to lock it in place.

    • 5

Plug the circular 9-pinned plug into the 9-pinned socket on the back of the monitor. Use a carpenter's knife to cut a small hole in the back of the seat, then cut another hole under the bottom of the seat. Cut a hole in the carpet under the seat. Make sure to cut each hole where it cannot be seen. Slide a straightened wire hanger through the carpet hole and shove it under the carpet. Push hard through the glue to create a path for the wires. Remove the hanger from the carpet.

    • 6

Tie the wires around the end of the hanger. Feed the hanger through the top hole of the seat down to the hole in the bottom of the seat. With the wires still attached, feed the hanger through the path under the carpet you created earlier. Push the hanger through the edge of the carpet so the wires exit near the area below the dash where all the other wires are concealed. Connect the positive monitor wire to the positive power wire and the negative monitor wire to negative power wire.
