How to Convert Your Portable TV to Digital

Portable TVs can be fitted to display digital television.

It's not difficult to convert your portable TV to digital. Most portable TVs today are analog devices. Analog TVs can't receive television signals since every television station in the United States has changed to a digital format. But with a few easy-to-find items, you can still watch your favorite shows on your portable TV.

Things You'll Need

• Antenna
• Coaxial cable
• Digital converter box

Instructions

1. Attach the coaxial cable to the coaxial port on the portable television.

2. Connect the opposite end of the cable to the "coaxial out" port on the back of the converter box.

3. Attach the coaxial cable that runs from the antenna to the "In" port located on the rear of the converter box. Hit the "Power" switch on the converter box. Turn on the TV.
