How to Hide Keylogger From Perfect Disk
Keylogger programs are small applications that record all the key strokes performed on a computer system. This ranges from content searched on the Internet to data typed on a word processor. These programs are helpful tools for backing up important information (just in case the text you type is deleted at a later date). When defragging your hard drive with Perfect Disk, you are able to keep the keylogger from being detected by adjusting the settings on the keylogger application.

1
Open your keylogger program. Typically these programs are hidden from view and run in the background of the system. This means there is no desktop icon or tab on the Start menu. Keyloggers have an access code you must enter to access the programming information (this is usually a series of three or four keys you must press to load the program). The keylogger code is provided to you when installing the software.

2
Select the "Options" menu in the keylogger program, then select "Hide From View" (the exact phrasing may differ slightly, depending on the keylogger application you're using). This prevents any other program from detecting it, including Perfect Disk.

3
Close out the keylogger application and launch Perfect Disk. You are now able to defrag your hard drive without the software detecting your keylogger content.
