Copy and paste text in your BlackBerry by using the tools on the Menu button.

The text functionality on BlackBerry phones give you the ability to keep in contact with people on your contact list. When creating text messages, you can manually type the messages using the onscreen or attached keyboard, but this process can be tedious if you are repeating the same message. A time- and effort-saving alternative is to copy and paste information from a previous text message into the current message.

Open the text message that you want to copy on your text message. Place the cursor in front of the text that you plan to copy. Click the Menu key and select "Select." Using your trackball, roll over the text you want to copy.

    • 3

Open a new text message and click in the body of the text message. Click the Menu key and select "Paste." The text is pasted into the new text message.
