How to Restart a Blackberry Curve
When your BlackBerry Curve seems like it is moving slower than normal, restarting it may resolve the problem. The Curve has the ability to do a "soft reset," which is similar to when you choose to "Restart" your computer at home. You signal the phone to restart through actions you perform on the phone. If the "soft reset" does not work, you can perform a "hard reset," also known as the battery pull, to restart the phone.

Press and hold "Alt" and the "Right Shift" buttons simultaneously.

Press "Delete" while holding both of the aforementioned buttons.

Release all three keys when the phone turns off and wait for the phone to restart. Do not attempt to type anything or open any programs until the phone is fully booted.
