How to Install a DSL TV

DSL satellite television services allow users to view a wide variety of channels on their televisions. To watch the images received by the satellite dish, a satellite television receiver box must be installed in the home. With the right equipment, you can easily install the satellite receiver in your home.

Things You'll Need

• Coaxial cable
• RCA cable

Instructions

1. Connect the first end of your coaxial cable to your satellite dish.

2. Connect the other end of your coaxial cable to the input port on the back of your receiver box. To do this, you will likely need a long coaxial cable, and may need to run the cable through an outer wall in your home. Consult an electrician about running a coaxial cable through a wall.

3. Connect your RCA cables to the RCA output ports on the back of your receiver box.

4. Connect the other end of the receiver cables to the ports on the back of your television.

5. Turn your television on and change it to its RCA input channel. You will see the signal your satellite is receiving on your television screen.
