How to Use the Cell Phone on GTA4

Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA4) is a video game for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. While the game follows a main quest line, which is the sequence of "missions" that must be completed to finish the game, there are a number of optional side quests that can be played. These missions involve a contact person that can be reached through the use of the in-game cell phone. Additional tasks, such as entering a cheat code, can also be accomplished with the cell phone.

Things You'll Need

• GTA4 game save after completing second mission

Instructions

1. Turn on your console or PC and insert the GTA4 game disc.

2. Choose the option to load a saved game, then select a game save that occurred after the completion of the second mission.

3. Press the "Up" button on the directional pad of your controller. This will bring up the cell phone on the bottom-right corner of the screen. The phone will contain a list of actions that can be performed.

4. Press the button indicated next to the action you wish to perform.

5. Push the "Down" button on the directional pad to put the cell phone away.

Tips & Warnings

• The cell phone is not accessible until it is given to you as part of the game's plot. This occurs early on, after the completion of the second mission.
