How to Disassemble a KitchenAid Rotary Grater
A KitchenAid rotary grater is simply a crank grater, used most often for grating hard cheese. The design allows you to put pressure on the cheese while simultaneously turning the crank to create soft grated cheese. Other blades on the rotary grater are used to grate root vegetables or chocolate, cinnamon, or nutmeg.
The rotary grater though, really works best for cheese or garnishes as you have to cut whatever you wish to grate into smaller pieces. Disassembling the rotary grater is quite simple.
