How to Access an FTP Site Using IE6
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a protocol for transferring files over a network. The files are uploaded to and downloaded from a central FTP server. The server is accessed using an FTP client. The Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) web browser can be used as an FTP client as long as the correct browsing settings are enabled. Once these settings are enabled, you will be able to see the list of files that are available on the FTP server.
