How to Install Java in a BlackBerry

JavaScript is a scripting language that enables applications to run from within a web browser. A BlackBerry user will be able to use the features and applications on websites that use JavaScript as long as it is installed on the BlackBerry browser. You can install JavaScript on the BlackBerry by enabling it on the Browser Configurations screen.

Instructions

1. Select the "BlackBerry Browser" icon on the Home screen.

2. Press the "Menu" key or click the "Trackball," then click "Options."

3. Select "Browser Configurations," then click the check boxes next to "Support JavaScript" and "Allow JavaScript popups" on the Browser Configuration screen.

4. Press the "Menu" key, then select "Save Options."
