How to Set the Ringtones for a Samsung A737

The SGH-A737 is a flip style phone made by Samsung and sold by AT&T Wireless. Its ring tone feature is one of the easiest ways to customize your A737 to your tastes. By choosing a personalized ring tone, you can display your personality or mood to anyone within earshot of your ringing phone. Personalized ring tones have the added benefit of distinguishing your ringing phone from many others in the same room. The Samsung A737 allows you to set your ring tone through the profile settings menu.

Instructions

1. Click "Menu" on the Samsung A737's home screen. Click "Settings."

2. Click "Set Profiles." Highlight the profile you'd like to edit the ring tone of and press the "Center" key to edit it.

3. Highlight the current ring tone next to Caller Alert Type and use the navigational keys to select the one you want.

4. Click "Done" to save the settings.

Tips & Warnings

• You can change the ring tone on any profile in the Settings menu, but the Normal profile is the most commonly used one.

• Your Samsung A737 comes with several ring tone options preinstalled, but you can download more from your mobile provider's website.
