How to Customize MSN Names

You can easily change your MSN name to whatever you want.

MSN Messenger, now known as Windows Live Messenger, is an application that allows you to communicate with friends online. Your screen name is the name displayed to your contacts and precedes any messages sent in an MSN conversation. You may want to change your MSN name for various reasons, such as to illustrate your mood or tell all your friends what you're thinking about.

Instructions

1. Open Windows Live Messenger. Your current screen name will be displayed at the top of the window next to a thumbnail of your display picture.

2. Click on your current name and click "Change Display Name."

3. Type your desired MSN name where it says "Type your name as you want others to see it." Click "Apply." Click "OK."
