How to Remove a Headlamp on a Previa

Replace the Previa's headlamps in a matter of minutes.

The Previa features halogen headlamps on all of its model. Replacing the headlamps typically take five minutes, and involves removing the headlamps and their electrical connectors. The process will be the same on all Previa models.

Instructions

1. Open up the hood and remove both the positive and negative battery connectors. Locate the headlamp connector at the back of the headlamps. Twist and pull the connector from the headlamps.

2. Turn the locking ring on the headlamp clockwise and pull it out. Remove the headlamp from its casing.

3. Place the new halogen bulb in the casing. Be sure not to touch the glass part of the halogen bulb as it could damage the bulb.

4. Turn the locking ring counter-clockwise to lock the new bulb in place. Re-attach the electrical connector at the back of the headlamp to the headlamp. Repeat the process on any other bulbs that need changing.

5. Reattach the battery terminals and turn on the engine.
