How to Build Hangers for RC Planes
RC model planes are some of the most delicate toys that you can use for playing or showcasing. The best way to display RC model planes is to hang them from your ceiling. These can be used as a theme or display in children's bedrooms or classrooms. You can build the hangers for the model planes to make sure that they do not fall easily or get damaged. You can create the hanger system using a few household tools and materials.

1
Grab one of the ends of the 18-inch nylon thread, and tie a 4-inch loop on it. Do the same for the other end to create two loops with a whole thread in between them.
-
2
Create another loop using the two ends of the nylon thread, placing the loop around the wings. Start by putting the loop around one wing and pull it all the way to its body. Loop the opposite end of the thread around the other wing.

Screw the cup hooks into the ceiling. Screw two hooks if you want to create level hangers for the model plane. Space the hooks a few inches short of your plane's length. For banking or diving angles, install three cup hooks in the ceiling to support the plane's wing. Place a wing hook around 2 to 4 inches from the center line in between the two main hooks.
-
4
Insert the string into the cup hook, and pull it toward you until the middle part of the thread reaches the hook.
-
5
Set the plane model how you want it to appear, and balance it according to your desired position. Tape the ends of the nylon thread down to the parts of the plane to secure it in place.
